AN ACT to amend the Workers' Compensation Act,

1912-1976.

[Assented to 28th November, 1977.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Workers' Short title

and citation.

amended.

2. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal Act

is amended

(a)

as to the interpretation "Employer", by deleting the passage "or (c)", in line three of the second paragraph; and

(b)

as to the interpretation "Worker", by deleting the passage ", road board,", in-

(i)  lines two and three of the fifth paragraph; and

(ii)  the penultimate line of the fifth paragraph.
