AN ACT to amend section eight and the First Schedule of the Workers' Compensation Act, 1912-1961.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1, (1) This Act may be cited as the Workers' VaIrgattron.

Compensation Act Amendment Act, 1963.

(2) In this Act the Workers' Compensation Act, Reprinted	in Vol. /3

1912-1961, is referred to as the principal Act.

Section eight of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words, "Commonwealth Health Laboratory", in lines five and six and, again, in line twelve, of paragraph (d) of subsection (16), the words, "State X-ray Laboratory", in each case.

Schedule 3. The First Schedule to the principal Act is

amended. amended

(a)	by deleting the word, "adult", in each case where appearing in line one of subpara- graph (i), and in line one of subparagraph (ii), of paragraph (c) of clause one;
(b)	by substituting for the words, "one hundred and fifty", in line twenty-one of paragraph (c) of the proviso to paragraph (c) of clause one, the words, "two hundred";
(c)	by substituting for the words, "two hundred and fifty", in line twenty-eight of paragraph (c) of the proviso to paragraph (c) of clause one, the words, "three hundred and twenty-five"; and
(d)	by substituting for the words, "any such accident or accidents", in line fifty-five of paragraph (c) of the proviso to paragraph (c) of clause one, the words, "an accident or accidents arising in the course of the worker's employment".
