AN ACT to amend the Workers' Compensation

Act, 1912-1956.

[Assented to 10th December, 1959.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Workers'

This Act shall come into operation on a day

to be fixed by proclamation.

Section four of the principal Act is amended

(a)

by inserting immediately before the word, "basic" where it appears in each of lines five, seven, nine and twenty-one of para- graph (a) of subsection (5), the word, "male" in each case;

(b)

by inserting immediately before the word, "basic" in line fifteen of subsection (6), the word, "male".
