WORKERS COMPENSATION ACT 1987—REGULATION
(Relating to the prescribed rates for treatment in public hospitals)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and with the concurrence of the Minister for Health, and in pursuance of the Workers Compensation Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1 July 1994.
Amendment
2. The Workers Compensation (General) Regulation 1987 is amended
by omitting the Table to clause 10BB and by inserting instead the
following Table:

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to vary the amounts for which employers are liable in
respect of hospital treatment of workers at public hospitals.
This Regulation is made under the Workers Compensation Act 1987, including sections 62 (rates applicable for hospital treatment) and 280 (the general regulation-making power).
