In section twenty-six of the Principal Act, the of s. 26. words "an employer or contractor to any" are repealed and the words " any person to any other" are inserted in lieu thereof. Amendmelll 11. In section forty-six of the Principal Act, after of s. 4(). the word "contractor" the word "sub-contractor" is inserted. AppJicatio:J 12. This Act may be cited as "The Worker8' Accom- and . modation Act Amendment Act oj 1921," and shall be read ~ ~ r~ ~ : ~ ctlOn as one with *" The W orker8' Accommodation Act of 1915," herein referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may together be cited as "The W O1'kers' Accommodation Acts, 1915 to 1921." Amendment 2. In section three of the Principal Act the definition of s. 3. of "Portable shearmg plant" is repealed. * 6 Geo. V. No. 30, supra, page 6899.

In the first paragraph of subsection one of section Amendment six of the Principal Act, after the word "premises" the of s. 6. words "of the employer" are repealed. . In paragraph (v.) of subsection two of the said section, after the words "serving of meals" the words or "for the storage of food" are inserted. In paragraph (xi.) of the said subsection two the words "With the sanction of the Minister, cesspits may be provided instead of earth-closets, and such cesspits shall be made fly-proof and all seats provided with automatic closing lids" are repealed and the following words are inserted in lieu thereof :-" Under special .circumstances and with the sanction of the Minister, cesspits may be provided instead of earth-closets, and such cesspits, which shall. be not less than eight feet in depth, shall be made fly-proof and shall be constructed as required by the inspector. All seats shall be pro- vided with automatic closing lids." In paragraph (xii.) of the said subsection two, after the word" light" the words" including artificial illumina- tion" are inserted. . In paragraph (xv.) of the said subsection two the words "except where the inspector certifies that there is not a sufficient supply" are repealed. 4 In section nine of the Principal Act the words Amendment, ~ ' or (c) Enters into a shearing agreement with the owner of s. 9. or other person having control over a portable shearing plant" are repealed. 5. In the first paragraph of section eleven of the Amendment Principal Act, after the words "to the employer" the of B. H. words "(which notice shall also have the effect of a continuing notice to comply with the requirements of this Act as specified in such notice at all times there- after)" are inserted. In the second paragraph of the said section, after the word "abode" the words "or by posting it to him by registered post at his usual or last known address" ale inserted.' 6. In the first paragraph of section thirteen of- the Amendment Principal Act, after the word "post" the words "by of s. 13. registered post" are inserted. G
