Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1 — Preliminary

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Work Health and Safety Regulations
Amendment Regulations 2023.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are

published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on 31 March 2023.

Part 2 — Work Health and Safety (General)

Regulations 2022 amended

3.             Regulations amended

This Part amends the Work Health and Safety (General)
Regulations 2022.

4.             Regulation 2 amended

In regulation 2:

(a) in paragraph (b) delete “regulation 58 — ” and insert:

regulations 58, 460(1), 473(2A) and 475(2A) —

(b) in paragraph (c) delete “460(1), 473(2A), 475(2A),”.

5.             Regulation 722 amended

In regulation 722 delete “longer transitional period,” and insert:

period of 3 years beginning on commencement day,

This Part amends the Work Health and Safety (Mines)
Regulations 2022.

10.           Regulation 2 amended

In regulation 2:

(a) in paragraph (b) delete “regulation 58 — ” and insert:

(b) in paragraph (c) delete “460(1), 473(2A), 475(2A),”.

11.           Regulation 711 amended
