Work Health and Safety Act 2011

1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Work Health and Safety Amendment Regulation 2012 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation is taken to have commenced on 1 January 2012.

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011.

4. New part 20.4A

   insert

Part 20.4AModification of Act

816AModification of Act, pt 20—Act, s 306

The Act, part 20 applies as if the following section were inserted:

‘305AInvestigations under Work Safety Act 2008

(1)This section applies to an investigation under the Work Safety Act 2008 of an event, accident or other incident that happened before the commencement day.

(2)An inspector under this Act may exercise any function of an inspector under the Work Safety Act 2008 in relation to the investigation.

(3)This section expires on the day the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011, chapter 20 expires.’
