WOOL TAX AMENDMENT ACT (No. 1) 1978

An Act to amend the Wool Tax Act (No. 1) 1964.

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and House of Rep­

resentatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:

Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Wool Tax Amendment Act (No. 1)

1978.’

Commence- 2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives

Rate of tax

3. Section 5 of the Wool Tax Act (No. 1) 19642 is amended by omit­

ting from sub-section (2) “ 1 July 1978” and substituting“ 1 July 1979”.
