Wool Marketing Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, having taken into consideration the last recommendation made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by certain members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 53a(1) of the Wool Marketing Act 1987, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 April 1990.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Wool Marketing Regulations.

Heading to Part V

3. The heading to Part V of the Principal Regulations is omitted and the following heading substituted:

“PART V—MISCELLANEOUS”.

4. After regulation 45 of the Principal Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Amount relating to exotic animal disease control

“46. For the purposes of subsection 53a(1) of the Act, the amount of $431,823 is prescribed.”.
