Wool International Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Wool International Act 1993.

1.   Commencement

1.1 These Regulations are taken to have commenced on the date of commencement of Schedule 6 to the Primary Industries and Energy Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 1996.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Wool International Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   New regulation 4A

3.1   After regulation 4, insert:

Payments to Wool International—prescribed percentage

 “4A. For the purposes of paragraph 43 (4) (b) of the Act, the percentage prescribed for a financial year commencing on or after 1 July 1996 is 0%.”.
