Wool Industry (Sampling Sites) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Wool Industry Act 1972.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1984.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 3 of the Wool Industry (Sampling Sites) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting the definitions of “Department” and “financial year”;

(b) by omitting “Presale” from the definition of “I.W.T.O. Certificate”; and

(c) by omitting the definition of “Secretary” and substituting the following definition:

“‘Secretary’ means the Secretary of the Department;”.

Criteria for registration

3. Regulation 8 of the Wool Industry (Sampling Sites) Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraphs (a), (c) and (d) “presale” and substituting “greasy”.

4. Regulation 9 of the Wool Industry (Sampling Sites) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “presale” and substituting “greasy”.

Operator to keep records

5. Regulation 9a of the Wool Industry (Sampling Sites) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in sub-regulation (1) “greasy” after “lots of”; and

(b) by inserting in sub-regulation (1) “greasy” after “samples of”.

Fees

6. Regulation 12 of the Wool Industry (Sampling Sites) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (3) (a) “62 cents” and substituting “55 cents”;

(b) by inserting in sub-regulation (3) “greasy” after “lots of”; and

(c) by inserting in sub-regulation (3) “greasy” after “samples of”.
