WOOD

v

THE REGISTRAR FOR THE SUPREME COURT OF QUEENSLAND

[2025] HCADISP 18
B64/2024

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from the whole of the judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Mullins P, Flanagan JA and Kelly J) of 18 October 2024 which dismissed the applicant's appeal against the order made by the Supreme Court of Queensland (Martin SJA), which found the applicant guilty of contempt in the face of the court.

  2. The application for special leave to appeal does not raise a question of law of public importance and any appeal would have no prospects of success. It is not in the interests of the administration of justice, either generally or in this case, for special leave to appeal to be granted.

  3. Special leave to appeal is refused.
