levying of the Wollongong Harbour Tonnage
Duty. [13th October, 1862.]
T X T H E R E AS by the Wollong'ong Tonnage Act of 1861a Tonnage Preamble.
Duty upon certain ships or vessels entering Wollongong Harbour was made leviable from and after the first day of July now next ensuing to be applied towards paying off a loan for improvements to the said harbour and fully carrying out such improvements And whereas such improvements are not sufficiently advanced to justify the levying of such duty on and from the said day and it is therefore expedient to postpone the same Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South W ales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows:—
