Witness Protection (Western Australia)

Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Witness Protection (Western
Australia) Amendment Regulations 2014.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day fixed under the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Witness Protection (Western
Australia) Regulations 1996.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

Delete regulation 3(c) and insert:

(c) the person who, under the Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive) Act 2008, is empowered to grant or renew a driver’s licence or issue a learner’s permit;

renew a vehicle licence;
