Witness Protection Regulations 1997

under the Witness Protection Act 1996

1Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Witness Protection Regulations 1997.

2Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on the day on which the Witness Protection Act 1996 comes into operation.

3Non-disclosure of former identity of participant (section 18 of the Act)

For the purposes of section 18(1)(b) of the Witness Protection Act 1996, the form set out in the Schedule is prescribed.
