REGULATION UNDER THE WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY ACT 1905-1919.

I, THE GOVERNOR- GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1905-1919, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Wireless Telegraphy Regulations 1920.

(Statutory Rules 1920, No. 256.)

After regulation 5 of the Wireless Telegraphy Regulations 1920, the following regulation is inserted:—

Provision as to Secrecy.

5a. Notwithstanding anything contained in any experimental or instructional licence granted prior to the making of this regulation, neither the licensee under an experimental or instructional licence nor any person acting on his behalf or by his permission shall divulge to any person (other than properly authorized officials of the Commonwealth of Australia or a competent legal tribunal), or make any use whatever of any message coming to the knowledge of the licensee or any such person as aforesaid by means of the apparatus licensed by such licence.
