Wine Overseas Marketing (Staff) Regulations (Cth)
STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE WINE OVERSEAS MARKETING ACT 1929-1934.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL, in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Wine Overseas Marketing (Staff) Regulations.
“the Secretary” means the Secretary to the Board;
“the Overseas Representative” means the person appointed to act outside Australia as the representative of the Board.
(2.) Such increments of salary (if any) as the Board determines shall be paid to officers, but so that the annual salary of an officer shall not exceed the maximum salary set out in the Table contained in the Schedule to these Regulations opposite to the office occupied by that officer.
(3.) It shall be a condition of the employment of the Secretary that he shall provide (without cost to the Board) such office accommodation and clerical and typewriting assistance as is necessary in connexion with the performance of his duties.

(2.) The Overseas Representative shall be paid travelling allowance at the rate of—
(
a )Two pounds eighteen shillings and sixpence per day when required to travel outside the United Kingdom upon the business of the Board; and(
b )Two pounds six shillings and sixpence per day when required to travel within the United Kingdom upon the business of the Board.
(3.) If the Overseas Representative is required to travel from Australia to London in order that he may perform the duties of his office, he shall be paid in lieu of travelling allowance while on board ship the sum of Twenty-five pounds for out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the voyage.
(2.) Unless his employment is terminated by death or by his own act or default, the Overseas Representative shall, if he resided in Australia at the time of his appointment, be entitled to a first class passage to Australia on the termination of his appointment.
Provided that any leave accumulated in excess of six weeks shall be forfeited.
