Preamble.

HERE AS it is expedient to allow wine intended for the con- New South Wales or the adjoining seas to he imported into the said

fore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of New South "Wales with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof That it shall be lawful for the Governor of New South Whales or the officer administering tlu; Government to order any wines to be delivered from any vessel or taken out of bond free of duty on such proof being adduced as the said Governor or officer administering the Government may require that such Avines are bond fide intended for the consumption of such Naval or ^lilitary Officers serving on full pay as aforesaid.

If subsequently sold

2. And be it enacted That if any of the said wines shall be purchasing the same for the use of other NaA'al or Military Officers s('rving in like manner in the said Colony or adjoining seas the same shall bo forfeited and liable to seizure accordingly.
