WILLS AMENDMENT ACT

No. 17 of 1989

AN ACT to amend the Wills Act 1970.

[Assented to 1 December 1989]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1.    This Act may be cited as the Wills Amendment Act 1989.

Commencement

2.    This Act shall come into operation on such day as is fixed by

proclamation.

Principal Act

3. In this Act the Wills Act 1970* is referred to as the principal Act.

Section 32 amended

4.     Section 32 of the principal Act is amended by repealing subsection

(1).

Sections 34, 35, 36 and 37 amended

5.     Sections 34, 35, 36 and 37 of the principal Act are amended by

deleting "in a probate action" wherever it occurs.
