I, the Administrator in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Nature Conservation Act 2002 .17 September 2012

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Wildlife (General) Amendment Regulations 2012 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Wildlife (General) Regulations 2010 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4A insertedAfter regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations , the following regulation is inserted in Part 1: 4AControlled animals For the purposes of the definition of controlled animal in section 32 of the Act, the animals specified in Schedule 7A are prescribed to be controlled animals. 5Schedule 7A insertedAfter Schedule 7 to the Principal Regulations , the following Schedule is inserted: Schedule 7AControlled Animals
