WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AMENDMENT REGULATIONS

(NO. 2) 1991

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.  These regulations may be cited as the Wildlife Conservation Amendment

Regulations (No. 2) 1991.

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Wildlife Conservation Regulations 1970* are

referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 42 amended

3.	Regulation 42 of the principal regulations is amended — (a) by repealing subregulation (1);
(b) by inserting at the foot of subregulation (2) (a) the following —

Penalty: $2 000. "; and

(c)	in subregulation (2) (b) by deleting subparagraphs (i) and (ii) and substituting the following —
" (i) in accordance with the Wildlife Conservation Act 1950 and these regulations; or

Regulation 43 amended

" $400

4. Regulation 43 of the principal regulations is amended —
(a) by repealing subregulation (1);
(b) by inserting at the foot of subregulation (2) (a) the following —

Penalty: $2 000. "; and

(o) in subregulation (2) (b) by deleting subparagraph (ii) and

substituting the following —

" (ii) in accordance with the Wildlife Conservation ff.

Act 1950 and these regulations; or

Regulation 44 amended

5.   Regulation 44 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in the penalty provision at the foot of subregulation (1) by

deleting "One hundred dollars" and substituting the following —

(b)	by inserting at the foot of subregulation (2) the following —
a ) f .

Penalty:  $400. I

(c) in subregulation (3) by inserting after "in any" the following —

nature reserve or wildlife "; and

(d)	in the penalty provision at the foot of each of subregulation (3) and subregulation (4) by deleting "One hundred dollars" and substituting in each place the following —
a $400 ".

Regulation 45 amended

6.   Regulation 45 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a)	in subregulation (1) by deleting "or honorary wildlife officer"; and
(b)	by inserting at the foot of each of subregulation (1) and subregulation (2) the following —

" Penalty: $2 000.

Regulation 46 amended

7.   Regulation 46 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting "scheme or working"; and
(b)	by inserting at the foot of the regulation the following —

a ,,.

Penalty: $2 000.

Regulation 47 amended

8.   Regulation 47 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in subregulation (4) by deleting "an approved scheme of

management or working" and substituting the following '—'

(b)	by inserting at the foot of each of subregulations (2), (4) and (5) the following —
" Penalty: $2 000.

Regulation 48 amended

9.   Regulation 48 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in subregulation (3) by deleting "the scheme of management" and
substituting the following —

a management plan "; and

(b)	by inserting at the foot of each of subregulations (2) and (3) the following —

Regulation 49 amended

10.   Regulation 49 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in subregulations (2) (d) and (5) (g) by deleting "Act" in each place
where it occurs and substituting the following —

(b) by inserting at the foot of each of subregulations (3), (4), (5) and

(7) the following —

Penalty: $2 000. "; and

(c)

in subregulation (6) —

(i)	by deleting "or honorary wildlife officer" in both places where it occurs; and
(ii)	by inserting at the foot of the subregulation the

following —

Penalty: $400.

Regulation 54 amended

11.   Regulation 54 of the principal regulations is amended in subregulation

(1) (b) and (c) by deleting "thirtyone-fortieths of an inch" in each place where

it occurs and substituting the following —

12. The principal regulations are amended by deleting "Act" in the provisions referred to in the Table to this regulation and substituting in each case the following —
