Wildlife Amendment Regulations 1998

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 .16 February 1998

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Wildlife Amendment Regulations 1998 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Wildlife Regulations 1971 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 3 amended (Licences)Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from column 3 of the item relating to a commercial wallaby hunter’s licence "20.00" and substituting "40.00"; (b) by omitting from column 3 of the item relating to a wallaby licence "10.00" and substituting "20.00".

Notified in the Gazette on 25 February 1998

These regulations are administered in the Department of Environment and Land Management.
