Wildlife Amendment (Noisy Pitta) Regulations 2021

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Wildlife Regulations 2013 to enable the noisy pitta to be kept and traded by holders of an appropriate licence.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 87 of the Wildlife Act 1975.

3Schedule 3 amended

In Part B of Schedule 3 to the Wildlife Regulations 2013[1], after item 23 insert—

"23A Noisy Pitta  Pitta versicolor".
