His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Wild Dog Destruction Act 1921.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to update the name of the Wild Dog Destruction Regulation 2009 to the
Border Fence Maintenance Regulation 2009 and to make other amendments to that Regulation as a consequence of the renaming of the Wild Dog Destruction Act 1921 to the Border Fence Maintenance Act 1921.
This Regulation is made under the Wild Dog Destruction Act 1921, including section 31 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Wild Dog Destruction Amendment Regulation 2017.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on the commencement of Schedule 8.44 [2] to the Biosecurity Act 2015 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Wild Dog Destruction Regulation 2009
(1) Clause 1 Name of Regulation Omit “Wild Dog Destruction”. Insert instead “Border Fence Maintenance”.
(2) Clause 3 Definition Omit “Wild Dog Destruction” from the definition of the Act in clause 3 (1).
Insert instead “Border Fence Maintenance”.(3) Clause 6 Rate Notice Omit “Wild Dog Destruction” from clause 6 (a).
Insert instead “Border Fence Maintenance”.
