Wheat Pool (Validation of Proclamations ) Act 1993, yo. 52 535 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Wheat Pool (Validation of Proclamations) Act 1983. 2. Validation of Proclamations . For the purpose of allaying doubt as to the validity and efficacy in law of Proclamations purporting to have been made pursuant to section 3 of The Wheat Pool Acts, 1920 to 1930, or pursuant to that Act as subsequently amended it is hereby declared that every Proclamation purporting to have been so made before the commencement of this Act- (a) was validly made and has and always has had effect in law according to its tenor; (b) is and always has been effectual- (i) to confer on the State Wheat Board the powers that it purports to so confer; and (ii) to apply the Act pursuant to which it purports to have been made with the modifications specified in the Proclamation. 3. Wheat Board taken to have complied with Act. (1) For the purpose of applying the provisions of The Wheat Pool Acts, 1920 to 1930, or that Act as subsequently amended, as modified pursuant to a Proclamation referred to in section 2, where the State Wheat Board has at any time received, handled, stored or treated any seed crop or any grain other than wheat the State Wheat Board shall be taken for all purposes to have received, handled, stored or treated the seed crop or, as the case may be, the grain other than wheat in compliance in all respects with those provisions and with the approval of the Minister first had and obtained. (2) In this section- Minister " has the meaning assigned to that term in The Wheat Pool Act of 1920.
