An Act to amend the Wheat Marketing Act, 1979, as a

consequence of the enactment of the Grain Handling

(Amendment) Act, 1980. [Assented to, 17th December,

1980.]

Wheat Marketing {Grain Handling) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. This Act may be cited as the “Wheat Marketing (Grain short

Handling) Amendment Act, 1980’’.

2.      (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on the date Commence-

of assent to this Act.

(2) Except as provided in subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Grain Handling (Amendment) Act, 1980.

3. The Wheat Marketing Act, 1979, is amended- Amendment of Act No. 202, 1979.

(a) by omitting from section 5 (1) the definition of “Grain Sec. 5.

‘Grain Handling Authority” means the Grain

constituted under the Grain Handling Act, 1954;

(b) by omitting from sections 7 (3), 8 and 27 (1) the words Secs. 7, “Grain Elevators Board” wherever occurring and by ̂ inserting instead the words “Grain Handling Authority”;

Sec. 11. (c) by omitting from section 11 (4) the words “Grain
