Wheat Industry Fund Levy Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and having taken into account the relevant recommendations made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the Grains Council of Australia, hereby make the following Regulations under the Wheat Industry Fund Levy Act 1989.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1990.

Rate of Levy

2. Regulation 3 of the Wheat Industry Fund Levy Regulations is amended by omitting “2.5%” and substituting “2.77%”.

Application of amendment

3. The amendment made by regulation 2 applies in relation to wheat produced in Australia that is:

(a) delivered by the grower to another person, otherwise than for storage on behalf of the grower: or

(b) processed by or for the grower:

on or after 1July 1990.
