AN ACT to amend the Wheat Delivery Quotas Act,

1969-1973.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Wheat and

Delivery Quotas Act Amendment Act, 1974.	citation.

(2) In this Act the Wheat Delivery Quotas Act, of 1969 as amended

19694973 is referred to as the principal Act. by Act No. 90 of 1973.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may

be cited as the Wheat Delivery Quotas Act, 1969-1974.

ment. 2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into

operation on the first day of October, 1974.

Long title

amended.

3. The long title of the principal Act is amended

by deleting the passage "the Wheat Industry

Stabilization Act, 1968, and" in lines four and five.

Section 3

amended. 4. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended

(a) by adding under the passage "PART II.— DETERMINATION OF WHEAT DELIV- ERY QUOTAS." a passage as follows

PART 'IA.—SUPPLY OF INFORMA- TION IN SEASONS OTHER THAN QUOTA SEASONS. ;

and

(b) by deleting the passage "PART III.— MODIFICATION OF OPERATION OF WHEAT INDUSTRY STABILIZATION ACT, 1968.".

Section 4

amended. 5. Section 4 of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by substituting for the passage "Wheat Industry Stabilization Act, 1968" in the interpretation "the State Act" in subsection (1), the passage "Wheat Industry Stabiliza- tion Act, 1974"; and
(b)	by substituting for the expression "III" in line one of paragraph (a) of subsection (2), the expression "HA".

amended. 6. Section 5 of the principal Act is amended by

repealing subsections (1) and (2).

amended.	13.	Section 31 of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by deleting the word "and" immediately after paragraph (a);
(b)	by substituting for the passage "it." in the last line the passage "it; and"; and
(c)	by adding after paragraph (b) a paragraph as follows

(c) where a notice under subsection (1) of section 29B of this Act has been published in relation to a season to which Part IIA of this Act applies the Company shall not, except with the consent in writing of the Min- ister, receive wheat of that season other than wheat produced by a person who has supplied the infor- mation required by that notice and been issued with a letter of acknow- ledgement under section 29C of this Act. .
