WHEAT DELIVERY QUOTAS.

AN ACT to amend section 30 of the Wheat Delivery

Quotas Act, 1969.

[Assented to 27th December, 1973.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Wheat Short title and citation

Delivery Quotas Act Amendment Act, 1973.

In this Act the Wheat Delivery Quotas Act, 1969 is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Wheat Delivery Quotas Act, 1969-1973.

ment. 2. This Act shall come into operation, or shall be deemed to have come into operation, as the case requires, on the date of the coming into operation of the Wheat Industry Stabilization Act 1973 of the Commonwealth.

Section 30

amended. 3. Section 30 of the principal Act is amended

by adding after subsection (4) the following sub-

section

(5) In exercising its powers under subsection (4) of section 15 of the State Act in respect of wheat of the quota season that commenced on the first day of October, nineteen hundred and seventy-three, the Board may have regard to the possibility that the Australian wheat quota originally determined for that season may be increased by a quantity not exceeding five hundred and forty-four thousand three hundred and eleven tonnes. .
