Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to change the amounts payable under a penalty notice for certain offences under the Western Sydney Parklands Regulation 2013, so as to standardise those amounts across legislation that regulates conduct at certain public places.

This Regulation is made under the Western Sydney Parklands Act 2006, including sections 48 (Penalty notices) and 50 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Western Sydney Parklands Amendment (Penalty Notice

Offences) Regulation 2019.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
