Act No. 11, 1982.
An Act to amend section 12a of the Western Lands Act, 1901, in relation to
the Minister’s powers of delegation. [Assented to, 13th April, 1982,]

Western Lands {Delegations) Amendment.
BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
Short title.
1. This Act may be cited as the “Western Lands (Delegations)
Amendment Act, 1982”.
Principal Act,
2. The Western Lands Act, 1901, is referred to in this Act as
the Principal Act,
Amendment of Act No. 70, 1901.
3. The Principal Act is amended in the manner set forth in
Schedule 1.
Savings.
4. A delegation—
| (a) | made under section 12a of the Principal Act; and |
| (b) | in force immediately before the date of assent to this Act, |
shall be deemed to be a delegation made under section 12a of the
Principal Act as in force after the date of assent to this Act,

SCHEDULE 1.
(Sec. 3.)
Amendments to the Principal Act.
(1) Section 12a (1 )—
Omit “prescribed office the exercise or performance of such”, insert instead “office under the Minister’s administration the exercise or performance”.
(2) Section 12a ( 1 ) "
Omit “as may be prescribed in relation to the holder of that office”.
(3) Section 12a (2 )—
Omit “a prescribed”, insert instead “an”.
(4) Section 12a (3 )—
Omit “prescribed”.
(5) Section 12a (4), (5 )—
Omit the subsections.
(6) Section 12a (7 )—
Omit the subsection.
