"Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows :—•

1 . This Act may be cited as the "Western Lands
(Amendment) Act, 1019," and shall be read with and

form part of the Western Lands Act of 1901, hereinafter

referred to as the Principal Act. 2 .

2 . The following amendments are made in the

Principal Act :—

Section seventeen : Omit " For the purposes ol this section the words 'small holdings' shall mean holdings the an as of which shall not exceed twenty thousand four hundred and eighty acres."

Section twenty-six: Omit "accompanied hy a deposit at the rate ol' twenty per centum on the amount of the first year's rent, as notified in the (hrvernmenl Gazette."

Section twenty-seven : Omit all the words after

" Government Gazette."

Section twenty-eight: Omit " t h e balance of." Omit "al l moneys lodged in connection with the application shall be forfeited, together with." After " lands in question"' insert •• shall he forfeited."
