AN ACT to amend section fifteen of the Western

Australian Trotting Association Act, 1946-1947.

[Assented to 21st January, 1949.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Western Australian short title.

Trotting Association Act Amendment Act, 1948, and shall be read as one with the Western Australian Trot- ting Association Act, 1946-1947 (Act No. 55 of 1946, as amended by No. 10 of 1947), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2. The principal Act, as amended by this - Act, may Citation of trianmeient Ott

Section fifteen of the principal Act is amended Amendment

3.   of s.15 of

by— principal Act.

(a)	deleting paragraph (a);
(b)	deleting the words "one meeting" in line one of paragraph (b) and substituting therefor the words "three meetings";
(c)	deleting the word "meeting" wherever appear- ing in the proviso and substituting therefor the word "meetings" in each case;
(d)	(i) deleting the words "in subsections (a) and

(b)" from the proviso;

(ii) deleting the word "a" in line two of the

proviso.
