Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2010

Made by the Governor in Executive Council after consultation with the
Western Australian Meat Industry Authority.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Western Australian Meat Industry
Authority Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2010.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2010.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Western Australian Meat Industry
Authority Regulations 1985.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of Aus-Meat and insert:

Aus-Meat means AUS-MEAT Limited (ABN 44 082
528 881);

5.             Regulation 34 amended

Delete regulation 34(4).

6.             Schedule 6 Parts 1, 2 and 3 replaced

Delete Schedule 6 Parts 1, 2 and 3 and insert:

Part 1 — Abattoir fees

1.        Application for approval to operate —

(a) an abattoir that is accredited by Aus-Meat $750

(b) an abattoir that is not accredited by

Aus-Meat …………………………………….. $1 000

2.        Annual fee for approval to operate —

(a) an abattoir that is accredited by Aus-Meat …... $750 plus

throughput fee

(b)	an abattoir that is not accredited by	$1 000 plus
Aus-Meat ……………………………………..	throughput fee

3.        Application to construct an abattoir ………………… $250

4.	Notification of a change of ownership ……………... $300
5.	Any other notification under regulation 23 ………… $50
6.	Application for variation of approval of conditions ... $50
