Western Australian Meat Industry Authority

Amendment Regulations 2002

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Western Australian Meat
Industry Authority Amendment Regulations 2002.

2.           The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Western Australian Meat Industry Authority Regulations 1985*.

3.            Regulation 34 amended

Regulation 34(2) is repealed and the following subregulations are inserted instead -

"

(2) Subject to subregulation (3), the fees set Out in
Schedule 6 Part 3 are to be paid for each 24 hours (or
part thereof) for which stock is yarded in Midland
Saleyard for transhipment.
(3) If the sum of the fees that would but for this
subregulation be payable under subregulation (2) for a
period of 24 hours (or part thereof) is less than $5.00,
the fee to be paid for yarding stock in Midland
Saleyard for transhipment for that period is $5.00.

4.            Schedule 6 amended

Schedule 6 is amended as follows:

(a) by deleting the Table to Part 2 and inserting the

following Table instead -
