AN ACT to amend the Western Australian Aged Sailors and Soldiers' Relief Fund Act, 1932-

1934.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and citation. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Western Australian Aged Sailors and Soldiers' Relief Fund Act Amendment Act, 1958.

(2) In this Act, the Western Australian Aged Sailors and Soldiers' Relief Fund Act, 1932-1934, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Western Australian Aged Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen's Relief Fund Act, 1932-1958.

Long Litre

2. The long title of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the passage, "Sailors and Soldiers' " therein, the passage, "Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen's". nmended.

3.    Section two of the principal Act is amended amended.

by substituting for the passage, "Returned Sailors and Soldiers' Imperial League of Australia, W.A. Branch, Incorporated" in lines one, two and three of the interpretation, "The League", the words, "Returned Sailors' Soldiers' and Airmen's Imperial League of Australia, W.A. Branch, Incorporated".

4. Section three of the principal Act is amended E 2ended

by adding after paragraph (b) of subsection (2), a

paragraph as follows:—

(c) From the commencement of the Western Australian Aged Sailors and Soldiers' Relief Fund Act Amendment Act, 1958, the account constituted by paragraph (a) of this subsection shall be known as the "Western Australian Aged Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen's Relief Fund".

5.    Subsection (3) of section four of the principal amended.

Act is amended by substituting for the words, "Sailors and Soldiers'" in line two the passage, "Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen's".

amended. 6. Section five of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by adding after the passage, "sailors, soldiers," in line seven, the word, "airmen";
(b)	by substituting for the passage, "soldiers or sailors," in lines eight and nine, the passage, "sailors, soldiers and airmen,";
(c)	by substituting for the passage, "soldiers or sailors, who fought in The Great War, 1914-1919" in lines eight and nine, the passage, "such eligible sailors, soldiers and airmen"; and
(d)	by substituting for the passage, "soldier, sailor," in line ten, the passage, "sailor, soldier, airman, nurse".
