eiglit hundred and eighty-four, resumed for the extension of a public
park : And whereas by proclamation published on the tentli of
November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, certain of
tlic said lands (including the lands described in Schedule C) were
declared to be subject to the Public Parks Act, and to be known (with
other lands) as “ Wentworth Park” : And whereas by proclamation
published on the eleventh of Eebruary, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-three, the last-mentioned proclamation was or purported
to be revoked as to certain of the lands aforesaid (not ineludiug the
| land described in Schedule C) with the vie\v to the sale of part of | , |
| such lands : And whereas other lands described in the Schedules to | |
| this Act were reclaimed under the Act thirty-sixth Victoria number | |
| ten, and declared by the Act forty-first Victoria number twenty to be | |
| dedicated as a public park : And whereas at various times the lands |
| described in Schedule A, consisting partly of the lands resumed and | ‘ |
| partly of the reclaimed lands, were offered for sale, and portions thereof were sold : And whereas the lands described in Schedules P and P) were set apart for road purposes: And whereas doubts have arisen as to the legal eifeet of the transactions above mentioned, and it is desirable to carry out tlu' intentions evidenced by those transactions: Be it therefore enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Plajcsty, by and with the advice and consent of the Jjegislative Council and Jjcgis- lative Assembly.of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by tlie anlhorityof the same, as follows :— |

Wentworth Park Validation.
| Lands in Schedule A. | 2. With respect to the lands described in Schedule A— |
| (a) | all Crown grants already issued on the sale as ahove mentioned of such lands are validated and shall have effect as from the date of such grants ; |
| (h) | all other lands described in the said Schedule are vested in the Crown, and are declared to he Crown lands within the meaning of, and shall he subject to, the Crown Lands Actsj and any appropriation of any part of such lands in force at the commencement of this Act is hereby rescinded. |
| Schedule B. | S . The lands described in Schedule B are vested in the Crown and dedicated as a public road, and the dedication shall have effect as if it were a dedication by the Governor. |
| Schedule C. | 4. The lands described in Schedule C are vested in the trustees for Wentworth Park and dedicated for public use and recreation, subject to the Public Parks Act, 1902. |
| Schelulc D. | 5. The lands described in Schedule 1) are vested in the Crown and dedicated as a public road, and the dedication shall have effect as if it were a dedication by the Governor. |
| Lauds fiVed from | 6. The vesting of any lands by this xVet shall be for an estate |

County of Cuinberl.and, ])arish of Petersliain: Commencing at the intcr.section of the nortlicrn side of Water-street witli the eastern side of Cowper-strect; and bounded thence by tlie last-named street bearing northerly lo I’ark-road ; thence by that road bearing easterly to the western side of Bay-street; thence by that street bearing southerly to the northern side of Water-street before mentioned; thence by that street bearing westerly to the point of commencement,—as surveyed and shown upon plan catalogued C 1,011-2,030 in the Dep.artment of Lands.
SCHEDULE B.
County of Cumberland, parish of Petersham : Commencing at the intersection of the northerly prolongation of the eastern side of Cowper-streot with the southern boundary of AVentworth Park, as enclosed ; and bounded tlience by Wentworth Park bearing easterly to high-water mark of Blackwattle Bay, as shown on plan quoted below: thence by that bigh-water mark bearing soutlierly and westerly to the western side of Bay-street; thence by that side of that street bearing northerly to its intersection with the southern side of Park-road ; thence by that side of that road bearing, westerly to the eastern side of Cowper-strect before mentioned ; thence by the northerly prolongation of that side of that street bearing northerly, to the point of commeneeincnt,—as shown upon plan catalogued Ms. 1,238 Sy. in the Department of Lands.

County of Cumberland, parish of Petersham : Commencing at the intersection of the northerly prolongation of the eastern side of Cowper-street with the southern boundary of Wentworth Park, as enclosed; and bounded thence by a further prolonga tion of that side of that street to high-watermark of Blackwattle B.ay, as shown on plan quoted below; thence by that high-water mark southerly to the southern boundary of Wentworth Park before mentioned ; thence by that boundary westerly, to the point of commencement,—as shown on plan catalogued Ms. 1,239 Sy. in the Department of Lands.
SCHEDULE D.
County of Cumberland, parish of Petersham : Commencing at the intersection of the southern side of Park-road with the eastern side of Cowper-street; and hounded thence by the last-named street bearing southerly to high-water mark of Blackwattle Bay, as shown on plan quoted below ; thence by that high-water mark hearing northerly to its intersection with the northerly prolongation of the eastern side of Cowper-street before mentioned ; thence by that prolongation hearing southerly, to the point of commencement,—as shown ujion plan catalogued Ms. 1,238 Sy. in the Department of Lands.
