This Plan is Wentworth Local Environmental Plan 2011 (Amendment No 17).
2 Commencement
This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Land to which Plan applies
This Plan applies to certain land to which Wentworth Local Environmental Plan
2011 applies.
4 Maps
The maps adopted by Wentworth Local Environmental Plan 2011 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the local plan-making authority on the making of this Plan.

1 Objectives of zone
| • | To provide a range of retail, business, entertainment and community uses that serve the needs of people who live in, work in and visit the local area. |
| • | To encourage employment opportunities in accessible locations. |
| • | To maximise public transport patronage and encourage walking and cycling. |
| • | To encourage the development and expansion of business activity that will contribute to the economic growth of Wentworth Shire. |
| • | To enable development of land in this zone for residential housing if adequate amenity will be provided for residents and the land will not be required for commercial or retail use. |
