HEREAS by an Act, No. 22 of 1854, to amend an Ordinance Preanlbla.

W "To establish a Ferry at Wellington, on the River hlurray,"	it was amongst other things enacted, that the several tolls,
mentioned in the Schedule to such Act, should be payable
in lieu of those specified in the Ordinance No. 4 of 1848, and be paid
by persons crossing the said Ferry: And whereas it is expedient to substitute other tolls for the said tolls so made payable-Be i t there- fore Enacted by the Governor-in-Chief of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Asscmbly of the said Province in this present Parliament assembled, as follows :-

4. This Act may be citcd as the Wellington Ferry Act, 1859." short title of Acts

l. The several tolls mentioned and set forth in the Schedule ~ s i n Schedule to

this Act substituted

hereunto annexed shall be papablc and paid by pcrsons using the f or tous imposed by

said Ferry, in the place of the tolls mentioned in the said Act. Act 2hf 1854.

2. The care, control, and management of the said Ferry shall be management of Fe^.

vested in the persons for the time being having the care, control, and

management of the main roads of the said Province.

3. This Act shall take effect from the passing thereof.	Commcncemcnt of
