to in this Act are those contained in the Weights and

Measures Act, 1915.

Amendment

of s. 1 (1) of 2. (1) In subsection one of section one of the Weights

(2) The operation of the M^eights and Measures

Act, 1915, is hereby suspended until the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and the enactments repealed by the said Act are hereby re-enacted and shall continue in force until the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and no longer.

Amendments 3. The IVeights and Measures Act, 1915, is amended

cipal Act. as follows :—

Sec. 3.	(1) Section three : Omit section.
Sec. 4,	(2) Section four : Omit “ Inspector-General” insert in lieu thereof “ ^Minister”.
Sec. 6.	(3) Section six :

(a) Omit the definition of “ Inspector-General ” .

(b) In the definition of “ superintendent” after the words “ means superintendent” insert “ of weights and measures ”.

Sec. 7.	(4) Section seven : Omit “ Inspector-General, a ” .
Sec. 8.	(5) Section e igh t: Omit all the words after “ the superintendent” insert in lieu thereof “ and such inspectors as may be necessary ”.
Sors. n, 10,	(G) Sections nine, ten and eleven ; Omit the word “ Inspector-General ’’ wherever it occurs in the sections and insert in lieu thereof the word “ Minister.”

These fees include the stam ping of one set of proportional weights where such are used ; dui'lex sets to be charged half fees.

One-half of those fees to be chargeable for weights, measures, or weighing instrum ents tested and rejected as incorrect or otherwise, unsuitable: Provided th a t where fractions of a penny occur they shall be charged as one penny.

In the case of weighing instrum ents graduated in centals, read “ 100 lb. ” in place of “ 1 cw t.”

F or the testing of weighing instrum ents a t premises outside the inspector’s office, owners shall provide cartage for the nece.ssary weights, and the labour ro ju ired to handle them, and shall pay an j’ additional mileage fees prescribed by the regulation.s.
