WEIGHTS AND MEASURES

No. 12 of 1967

An Ordinance to amend the Weights and Measures

Ordinance 1929-1966.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Weights and

Measures Ordinance 1967.*

(2.) The Weights and Measures Ordinance 1929-1966, f as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Weights and Measures Ordinance 1929-1967.

2. Section 29 of the Weights and Measures Ordinance

1929-1966 is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-section (1.) the words "or repaired " and inserting in their stead the words ", repaired or altered "; and
(b) by omitting sub-section (2.) and inserting in its

stead the following sub-section:—

" (2.) The person who mends, repairs or alters the weight, measure or instrument shall destroy the existing stamp on the weight, measure or instrument.".
