AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Weights and Measures Ordinance

1929 1937.

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Common-

wealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal

I Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under

the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910-1959.

WEIGHTS AND MEASURES ORDINANCE 1959.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Weights and short title

Measures Ordinance 1959.*

(2.) The Weights and Measures Ordinance 1929-1937f

is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordi- nance, may be cited as the Weights and Measures Ordinance 1929-1959.

2. Section three A of the Principal Ordinance is repealed

" 3A. Subject to this Ordinance, the Regulations under the Application Weights and Measures Act, 1915-1956 of the State of New Regions. South Wales, in force at the commencement of this section,
