Short title.

1. (1) This Act may he cited as the “ Weights and

Measures Act, 1915,” and shall commence and take effect on and from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

2. The VVights and Measures Act, 1898, the Sydney

Coal Delivery Act, 1901, and section thirty-seven of the

Government Kailways Act, 1912, are repealed.

“ Schedule ” means Schedule to this Act.

“ SupcrinteiuUmt ” means suiierintendent appointed

under this Act.

“ The court” means tin' court in or before which

the proceedings in question are had.

and stamping the same. Such new denominations of

standards when proclaimed hy the Governor in the

Gazette shall he standard weights and measures of New

South 'Wales.
