s1 2 s3 Weapons Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) No. 87, 2001 2001 PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Weapons Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2001. PART 2—AMENDMENT OF WEAPONS CATEGORIES REGULATION 1997 2 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the Weapons Categories Regulation 1997. 3 Amendment of s 7 (Category H weapons) (1) Section 7(1), from ‘other than a powerhead,’— omit, insert — ‘is a category H weapon, regardless of whether it has been rendered permanently inoperable.’. (2) Section 7(3)— renumber as section 7(4). (3) Section 7— insert — ‘ (3) This section does not apply to a powerhead or category C, D or R weapon.’.
