HEREAS it is expedient to provide the sum of Twenty-five Preamble.

therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Provincc of South Aus- tralia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited and referred to, for a11 purposes, as Short title O ~ A C ~.

3. The said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of Five Pounds

per centum pcr annurn, and the interest and principal upon such

bonds shall be payable and paid to the holder thereof, at such place

the principal shall not be payable or paid before the expiration of twenty-five ycars, and thc time appointed for payment thereof shall not extend beyond fifty years.

4. The Treasurer shall muse cveq bond issued under this Act, to

be sold for the best price, not being below par, thac can be obtained

for the same.

5. All sums of money raised and received by the Treasurer upon

the security of the said bonds shall be carried by the said Trcasurer

to the credit of the Commissioner of Public Works for the com-

pletion of the said reservoir, and other works connccted therewith,

authorized by "The Waterworks Act, 1868," and " The Adelaide

Suburban Waterworks Act, 1870-71," to be constructed, and shall be by him paid to the said Commissioner, in such amount and manner as the Governor, by any warrant under his hand, may from time to time authorize and direct.
