Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Waterworks (Definition of Commercial Purpose)

Regulations 1995.

Commencement

2. These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

Exclusion of certain purposes

3. The following purposes in relation to the use of land are excluded from the definition of

"commercial purpose" in section 65A of the Waterworks Act 1932:

(a)

hospital;

(b)

health centre;

(c)

sanatorium or convalescent home or rest home;

(d)

quarantine station;

(e)

research or development;

(f)

hotel, motel or boarding house or hostel;

(g)

caravan parks and camping grounds.
