W HEREAS it is debirable to autlmise the construction of a hi@- level rcscwoir and other works, for the purpose of extendliig	the supply of watcr to the places mcrltiorled in the Schcdulc hereto:
And whereas plans and sectiom showing tllc source of supply, and
the reservoir ancl other works, and tlic dircct~oi~ of thc main and branch pipes, and the strccts awl grounds tllrough which they arc to
be laid, and also boolts of ~cfercncc containing the names of the owners c.r occupicrs, or reputed owners or occnpicrs (so far as known),

streams delineated or shown on the said plans or sections, or described in the books of reference deposited as aforesaid, the Commissioner of Waterworks, after giving ten days' notice to

the owners or occupiers? or reputed owners or occupiers, of the

lands and streams affected, or likely be affected, by the correction of such error, omission, misstatement,-or wl*ong desmi tion, may apply

justices that it is expedient and not unjust to correct auch error,	to two justices to correct the same; and, if it lsha P lappear to such
omission, misstatement, or wrong description, they sball give the said Commissioner a certificate in such form as they shall think propcr, and shall in such certificate state the particulars of any snch error,
omission,misstnten;~ent, or wrong description; and such certificate, with
the documents to which it refers, shirt11 bc deposited vi th thc other documents to which they refer, in the office of the Snrveyor-General, and thereupon such plans, sections, or book OS reference shall bc deemed to be corrected according to sucll certificatc, and the said Comrrhsioncr may make, complct~, extend, and maintain the works hereby authorised, in accorciance with such certificate, as if such error omission, misstatement, or wrong description had not been made.

IeterprettAos. 4. In the construction of, and for the purposes r;f this Act and

"The Adelaide City, I'ort, i ~ n d Suburban Waterworks Act, 1874,"

when not inconsistent with the contest, the expression, the " under- taking" shall, in addition to the meaning assignell thereto by the said '(The Adielitiilc City, Port, and Snburbitn Waterworks Act, 1874," mean and includc' the high-lcvd reservoir and other ivurks hereby authorised to he constructrd; aud the crrpression. "lands and strean~s" shall, in addition to the meaning assigncil thereto by thc

said Act, mcan a d include thc land and streams of water hereby

authorised to be taken or used for the purposes hereof.

short title.	5. This Act may be cited for all purposes as "The Waterworks Amendment Act, 1878."
Incorporation.	6. Except so far as the same is inconsistent with or altered by this Act, this Act and "The Adclnidc City, Port and Suburban Waterworks Act," shall be incorporated and read as one Act.
