HEREAS it is expedient to authorise the construction of an p, d k,

W additional reservoir and other works for the purpose of fticilitatiilg the supply of water to the City of Adelaide; and

vvhereas plans and sections showing the source of supply, and the reservoir and works connected therewith, and the direction of the main and branch pipes, and the streets and grounds through which

they are to be laid, have been deposited in the office of the Sur-

veyor-General, at Adelaide - Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legielative Council and House of Assembly of ths

in this present Parliament assembled, as follows :'

1, It shall be lawful for the Commissioner of Waterworks to take T ~ O

completion of the said reservoir and such fence and plantation, permit the public to have access by footways to the said piere of land; and the said Commissioner shall at all times after the completion thereof cause such fence, plantation, and footways to be kept in proper repair. And provided also, that if from any cause the occupationEby the Conlrrlissioner of the said piece of land for the purposes of this Act shall at any time hereafter cease, the care, control, and management of the said piece of land shall revert to the Council of the City of Adelaide.

THE SCHEDULE HERETO.

All that rectangular piece or parcel of land being portion of the Adelaide Park Lands, and measuring on the north aide as well as on the south side thereof, three hundred and eighty feet, and on the east side as well as on the west side thereof, three hundred and eighty feet, and which piece of land is bounded on the south side by that portion of the street or road known as Barton-terrace, which forms a continuation of the street or road known as Childers-street, and is bounded on the west side thereof by that portion of the street or road known as Barton-terrace, which forms a continuation of the etreet or road known as O'Connell-street,:anrl is bounded on the north and eabt aides thereof respectively by other portion of thermid Park L a ~ d s.
