REGULATIONS UNDER PART III. OF THE TRANSPORT WORKERS ACT 1928-1929.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under Part III. of the Transport Workers Act 1928-1929, to come into operation on the date fixed for the commencement of the Transport Workers Act 1929.

Waterside Workers Regulations.

Short title.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Waterside Workers Regulations.

Definitions.

2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—

“the Act” means the Transport Workers Act 1928-1929;

“the Schedule” means the Schedule to these Regulations.

Form of application for licence.

3. An application for a licence under section six of the Act shall be in accordance with Form T.W. 1 in the Schedule.

Form of licence.

4. A licence issued under section seven of the Act shall be in accordance with Form T.W. 2 in the Schedule.

Application for renewal of licence.

5. An application for the renewal of a licence under section nine of the Act shall be in accordance with Form T.W. 3 in the Schedule.

Licence for another port.

6. An application under section eleven of the Act shall be in accordance with Form T.W. 4 in the Schedule.

Fees.

7. The fee in respect of an application under section six, section nine, or section eleven of the Act, and in respect of the issue of a duplicate licence under section ten of the Act, shall be, in any case, the sum of one shilling.
