WATER SUPPLY AUTHORITIES ACT 1987—REGULATION
(Relating to the area of operations and functions of Benerembah Irrigation District
Environment Protection Trust)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Water Supply Authorities Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1 September 1995.

Amendment
2. The Water Supply Authorities (Benerembah Irrigation District Environment Protection Trust) Finance Regulation 199 1 is amended by inserting after clause 2 the following clauses:
Area of operations of the Trust
2A. For the purposes of section 13 (1) of the Act, the area of
operations of the Trust is the area shown bounded by a red line on the
map numbered 123—630 and deposited in the office of the Department
of Water Resources at Parramatta.
Functions of the Trust
2B. For the purposes of section 13 (2) of the Act, the Trust has, and may exercise in its area, only the functions of an Authority that may be exercised in relation to a drainage area service charge.

Repeal
3. Clauses 3 (3) and 6 of the Water Supply Authorities (Areas of

Operations) Regulation 1987 are repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is:

(a)

to insert provisions relating to the area of operations and functions of the Benerembah Irrigation District Environment Protection Trust in the Water Supply Authorities (Benerembah Irrigation District Environment Protection Trust) Finance Regulation 1991; and

(b)

to repeal the provisions relating to these matters that are currently contained in the Water Supply Authorities (Area of Operations) Regulation 1987.

This Regulation is made under section 13 (Area of operations) of the Water Supply

Authorities Act 1987.
